Wyndham rejects latest takeover attempt from Choice Hotels

Another offer of Choice Hotels conclude an agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts fell flat.

After months of on-and-off discussions toward a deal that would unite two of the nation’s largest budget hotel owners, Wyndham’s board of directors received a letter from Pat Pacious on Nov. 14, during which Choice’s chief executive sought to restart negotiations and reach a deal with Wyndham before the end of the year, according to people familiar with the matter.
