The Witch and the Beast Key visual features of the Ashaf and Guideau anime

The television anime adaptation of Kōsuke Satake’s manga, “The witch and the beast», revealed a new visual on its official website. In addition to the visual, the website also revealed additional cast and staff members.

The visual suggests that the anime will stay true to the themes of the manga since it takes place in the late 18th-19th century. Additionally, the all-new key visual highlights two central characters, Ashaf and Guideau. Ashaf, left, is known for his calm demeanor and is generally considered a gentleman. On the other hand, Guideau, on the right, is characterized by a more assertive character. Additionally, the commonality between them is that both were cursed by a self-proclaimed heroic witch.

As has already been announced, Takayuki Hamana will direct the anime at Yokohama Animation Laboratory. Additionally, character design is handled by Hiroya Iijima. Originally from Young Magazine Third, in 2017, the manga’s serialization moved to Monthly Young Magazine in 2021. The ongoing manga series is written and illustrated by Kōsuke Satake, who put the manga on hold due to his health issues. But, despite its hiatus, anticipation for the anime TV adaptation remains high as fans eagerly await its big premiere.
