The Steam Fall Sale starts this week, looks like it’s going to be a good thing

It feels like Steam has some sort of sales event almost every week. Recently we held Scream Fest to celebrate Halloween, and now we’re hosting another one as we head towards the end of November.

As always with these sorts of things, we can never be 100% sure which games will get a discount. However, if you watch the video below, a few major titles appear, suggesting that they will be part of Steam’s next sale.

We are entitled to clips like Hitman 3, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, Son of the Forest, The Last of Us: Part 1and even Star Field. The fall event begins on November 21 and runs through November 28, and with a lineup like this, it looks like it will be interesting to watch.

It’s been quite a year

As we approach the final weeks of 2023, many of us will begin to reflect on the last twelve months that have passed. While this year has been great for video game releases, a lot of the joy has been tainted by the continued (and rather brutal) layoffs that have taken place across the industry.

As such, it’s been a roller coaster ride, but things seem to be moving forward relentlessly, and the Steam Fall Sale event is just one example.

Of course, Christmas is coming soon, so we’ll see winter sales happening during the holiday season. There’s nothing like a series of discounted games in an age where everyone is spending too much money anyway.
