Summary
- Genshin Impact 4.3 Phase 2 Banner Characters Reportedly Leaked.
- Chevreuse, a new 4-star character, could be the key to confirming the leaks.
- Version 4.3 is expected to arrive in December.
THE GenshinImpact 4.3 The Phase 2 banner leaks suddenly make a lot more sense, given another set of significant leaks that have surfaced. The next version will continue the Traveler’s adventure through Fountain, although the main Archon quests revolving around the fate of the region have been resolved with the current update. In fact, there was a major knowledge bomb in GenshinImpact 4.2 which could have major repercussions in the future. Even though the biggest compilation of leaks took place before the release of version 4.0 and Nation of Hydro itself, the HoYoverse RPG is still plagued by information leaks.
It is common for leaks to occur before each patch is released. Navia’s gameplay kit GenshinImpact leaked before its official release in version 4.3, for example. Videos revealed its capabilities and even animations before the reveal by the developer in the respective livestream. Same thing with Chevreuse, a new 4-star character whose abilities have been demonstrated beforehand. Now, more solid leaks regarding the structure of the character banners for version 4.3 have been shared – and backed by other alleged information, it appears that the leaked composition of the Phase 2 banners is accurate this time.
Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya Could Be Featured in Genshin Impact 4.3 Phase 2 Banners
According to new information obtained by the leaker known as Waffel, then shared on Reddit, the stars of the Phase 2 banners in GenshinImpact 4.3 will be Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya. Both characters come from Inazuma. Raiden Shogun is the 5-star Electro Archon, a character that can function as a main DPS, an off-field sub-DPS, and a battery support unit. Yoimiya, on the other hand, is a main DPS character, specializing in dealing Pyro DMG to opponents. While they may seem like thoughtless replays, the way they are organized in Phase 2 can actually be fully justified by another 4.3 leak.
Leaks show Chevreuse resonates with Pyro and Electro units in Genshin Impact
The main reason why the Phase 2 leaks stating that Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya are the highlighted replay characters seem credible is due to Chevreuse’s own leaks. The new 4-star character has been confirmed by HoYoverse as the first hero in version 4.3. The secret lies in Chevreuse’s leaked gameplay kit GenshinImpact. According to the rumored information about its abilities, Chevreuse will be a support unit, capable of providing healing to the team, as well as buffs. Leaks show that the most significant buffs revolve around empowering other Pyro and Electro units on his team.
In fact, it distributes bonuses to those who trigger Overloaded reactions. Leaks indicate that Chevreuse’s elemental skill is a shotgun blast that can fire something called an Overcharged Bullet, which deals more AoE (area of effect) damage and is created for its use when the party triggers an Overcharged Reaction . As Chevreuse is a Pyro unit, at least one other Electro character must be on the team for this to happen. Although this ability only justifies the replay of Raiden Shogun in GenshinImpactfurther details on his kit also indicate his synergy with the Pyro element.
One of Chevreuse’s leaked passive talents states that if the team is made up entirely of Pyro and Electro units, with at least one character from each element, she will activate the Synergized Tactics buff. With this buff, whenever an Overloaded reaction is triggered by the party, the the enemy’s Pyro and Electro resistances will be reduced for a total of six seconds. In addition to the overloaded ball mentioned above, this is another reason for the team to compose with Chevreuse in a circle around the overloaded elemental reactions in GenshinImpact – not only will she deal more damage, but she will allow her teammates to deal more damage to opponents.
Another detail from Chevreuse’s leaked gameplay kit appears to confirm that Yoimiya and Raiden Shogun will be featured in Phase 2, along with his own debut. Another of Chevreuse’s Passive Talents would have increased the ATK of his team’s Pyro and Electro units by 1% on Chevreuse’s max 1000 HP, up to a 40% ATK increase. If true, this will establish Chevreuse as a support unit working exclusively with Pyro and Electro characters in GenshinImpact – and having Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya under banners with her makes perfect sense.
If players are lucky enough to pull one of the two 5-star heroes and Chevreuse, they may see a significant improvement in their performance. Chevreuse’s kit is restrictive, but it seems to pay off, at least according to the leaks. Other 5-star characters that would work well with her in case the leaks are true are Hu Tao, Lyney, Cyno and Yae Miko in GenshinImpact. Depending on how it’s built around its complex scaling system, Dehya could also synergize with Chevreuse.
These names, however, were not mentioned in the 4.3 leaks, so they are unlikely to appear in the next patch.
Previous banner leaks for Genshin Impact 4.3
While the leaks regarding Yoimiya and Raiden Shogun replays in 4.3’s Phase 2 banners seem like solid bets, especially when backed up by Chevreuse’s debut and her alleged gameplay kit, there are had previous leaks that indicate otherwise. Some of the first GenshinImpact Leaked version 4.3 character banners showed that the lineup would consist of Navia, Arataki Itto, Raiden Shogun, and Albedo. With the new information shared by leaker Waffel, it appears that both 5-star Geo units were either rejected as rerun options for the next patch, or the information was inaccurate.
Although the replays of Arataki Itto and Albedo are highly anticipated, especially given the lack of options when it comes to Geo characters, players may have to wait a little longer before trying their luck selecting these characters in a future rebroadcast. The fact that they don’t resonate as well with Chevreuse as they do with Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya is a major indicator that the second leak on the composition and order of the character banners in GenshinImpact 4.3 is correct.
Even if the leaks have proven reliable in recent months, particularly near the Fontaine release, they should always be taken with a grain of salt. The character banner lineup may be inaccurate or subject to change prior to a version’s release, particularly regarding reruns. Nonetheless, the presence of Chevreuse and her alleged kit lends more credibility to the Phase 2 banners featuring Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya in GenshinImpact 4.3.
