Lucasfilm’s Dave Filoni Confirmed He’s Working on Ahsoka Season 2 Outline

Ahoksa Star Rosario Dawson teases that creator Dave Filoni is hard at work on the outline for season 2 of the series. Premiering on Disney Plus last summer, the latest Star Wars the show chronicles the titular Jedi’s investigation into a new emerging threat in the galaxy, featuring live-action versions of characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), among others. . The show received positive reviews from critics, but, following the Ahsoka Season 1 finale in early October, season 2 has not yet been confirmed.

Now, in a recent interview with Vanity FairDawson suggests that, despite Ahsoka with season 2 yet to be officially greenlit, Filoni is working on crafting the larger story arcs for the series’ second outing. Check out Dawson’s full comment below:

“I mean, they haven’t said anything officially, but I remember when we were at the Star Wars celebration in London and they were like, ‘We’re giving Dave a movie!’ And I was like, “I kind of feel like that means we’re probably going to get a second season.” For a while, and especially now with the strike and everything else, no one can say anything. But he said he’s working on a preview. So we’ll see.
