Black Friday 2023 is fast approaching, but you don’t need to wait another minute to score a great deal on one of Christopher Nolan’s films. The director’s 2014 sci-fi film Interstellar is currently marked down to just $8 for the 4K Blu-ray edition.
It normally sells for $26 on Amazon, so it’s a pretty good deal for Black Friday. The package includes Interstellar on a Blu-ray disc as well as a digital copy of the film. Shipping is free for Prime members.
It’s worth noting that Interstellar is currently streaming on Prime for subscribers. But those who want what some consider the optimal viewing experience may want to grab it on disc.
Released in 2014, Interstellar was written and directed by Nolan and stars Matthew McConaughey as an astronaut sent into the depths of space to find a new planet for humans. The film also stars Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway and won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
If you can’t get enough of Nolan, Ian Nathan’s 2022 book, Christopher Nolan: The Iconic Filmmaker and His Work, is marked down to $27 at Amazon for Black Friday. It normally sells for $36.
Some other Nolan films, like his Batman trilogy, are also discounted for Black Friday.
