THE Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie Digital Release Date has been revealed, and UK fans frustrated by the lack of home viewing options won’t have to wait too long.

Prime Video has set the digital release date for Five Nights at Freddy’s as November 27, 2023 in the UK and November 28, 2023 in the US.
While fans in the US could watch the video game adaptation on the Peacock streaming service, UK fans only got a theatrical release with a 15 certificate, preventing younger fans from the watch easily.
The problem is that it’s not yet a Home Premiere rental version, but a UHD digital copy which will set you back $19.99/£19.99. For a physical copy you’ll have to wait until at least January and a rental version somewhere in between.
The film Five Nights at Freddy’s was a phenomenal success, beating the box office of The Nun 2 to become the biggest horror film of the year (Meg 2: The Trench earned more worldwide, but this is not explicitly horror). It broke all sorts of records during its run and ensured that a sequel is a surefire thing.
As it stands, it’s the 16th best global box office performance of 2023 and grossed over $270 million on a $20 million budget.
The film, directed by Emma Tammi, follows Mike (Josh Hutcherson), a troubled young man caring for his 10-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio) and haunted by the unsolved disappearance of his older brother. ‘a decade ago. Recently laid off and desperate to find work guarding Abby, Mike agrees to become a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
But Mike soon discovers that nothing at Freddy’s is what it seems. With the help of Vanessa, a local police officer (Elizabeth Lail), Mike’s nights at Freddy’s will lead him to inexplicable encounters with the supernatural and drag him into the dark heart of an unspeakable nightmare.
