Sledgehammer Games has announced plans to temporarily remove one of the most problematic Operator skins from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as the skin’s visibility issues need to be resolved.
The Call of Duty developer held a Reddit AMA for Modern Warfare 3, and a frequently asked question from players was the ongoing visibility issues with the Gaia “Evil Groot” operator skin carried over from Modern Warfare 2.

Now playing: Modern Warfare 3 MP and Zombies Review
The Gaia skin is from the Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 Battle Pass, and it’s already received an update to help improve visibility in MW2 and Warzone, but the transparency of this tree-shaped character makes it still hard to see in Modern Warfare 3.
Due to these visibility issues, Sledgehammer Games has announced that adjustments are being made to fix the standard and BlackCell versions of this battle pass skin. “In a future update to the game, we will disable this item until the changes can be released to all players,” the developer responded.
In other Modern Warfare 3 news, the developer announced updates to the multiplayer mode, including spawn changes and the addition of a stamina bar. Players can also level up faster this weekend with a Modern Warfare 3 double XP event starting on November 22.
