Beyond the Star Disney Plus Docuseries Gets Release Date and Schedule

South Korean boy band BTS knows how to feed his fans. On Monday, November 20, 2023, the septet announced a new documentary series titled BTS Landmarks: Beyond the Star. The series will document the group’s decade-long journey, from its beginnings to its global success and fan base. It will be available to stream exclusively on Disney Plus on December 20, 2023. Two new episodes will be released every Wednesday.

BTS, which means “Bangtan Sonyeondan” in Korean, debuted in 2013. The group’s seven members include leader RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok ). ), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung) and Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook). The septet has had its share of ups and downs, and now, their journey will be shared in detail in the new docuseries.

BTS’s journey to achieving global success hasn’t been easy. The septet has faced stigma, hatred, and many other obstacles to ensure their music reaches the right audience. However, the group has amassed millions of fans over the years, mainly through their music and message. The new documentary series, BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, will provide insight into their decade-long musical journey and the challenges they faced.

The documentary series was announced in November 2022 and will finally be released on December 20, 2023. After the first episode, fans, or ARMY, will get two new episodes every Wednesday. Additionally, Disney Plus has already released the trailer and poster of the docuseries, where fans can get a glimpse of the members’ personal interviews.

The teaser talks about the emotions experienced by the septet during their 10-year career. J-Hope describes feeling all the emotions while making music. The rest of the members continue with memories of laughter, tears and more. Meanwhile, Jin, Jungkook and RM talk about how the group realized they had gone far.

Suga promised during the announcement teaser that the docuseries would feature stories about their growth and music from their debut to today. V also revealed that it contained candid stories that had never been told before. Standing next to them, RM shared that there would be a glimpse of their “blood, sweat and tears.” The anticipation couldn’t be higher as fans wait for the members’ stories.
