All-time great indie games are coming to Netflix

Netflix Geeked Week saw some big hitters announced for the streaming platform, from season two of Arcane to the first trailer for the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Netflix Games – the service’s gaming platform, which offers mobile games downloadable for free through the app – won’t be left behind, as Netflix announced 10 new games coming to the service, with a few indie favorites included.

Four critically acclaimed indie titles – Hades, Braid Anniversary Edition, Katana Zero and Death’s Door – have all been confirmed to be coming to mobile devices via Netflix in the near future. The games were announced alongside Netflix IP-based games like Shadow & Bone: Enter The Fold, as well as Oxenfree II and other games from Netflix-owned studios.

The full list of titles confirmed for Netflix Games is as follows:

  • Braid Anniversary Edition
  • Chicken coop: egg extraction
  • Death’s door
  • The Dragon Prince: Xadia
  • Hades
  • Katana Zero
  • Money theft
  • Oxenfree II: lost signals
  • Shadow & Bone: Enter the Fold
  • Slayaway Camp 2: Netflix and Kill

Three of the announced titles – Oxenfree II, Shadow & Bone and Slayaway Camp 2 – are now available on the Netflix mobile app. The other seven games were given no release window other than “coming soon”.

Netflix Games is now available as a free add-on to every paid Netflix subscription. Games available through the service can be downloaded directly from the standard Netflix app on iOS and Android devices.
